Discourse? Omg of course there is, there’s always something new to fight over! As always, I like to stay well away from any discourse that doesn’t involve someone who needs defending, but this is fairly harmless, so.
I think he’s actually a lot more than either of those things, but he has traces of both, too.
A little assholery; chaos, rudeness, yelling, outlandish harmless selfishness and a solid dose of aggressive attention seeking.
A little (more) softness; grief, decency, the things he loved enough to know by heart, being silly, being honest, being brave and fretting like crazy.
People are complex. Nobody is any one thing, in my opinion. 💜💜💜
I love the way these two orbit each other. The way they subconsciously seek contact.
I love seeing people who so obviously have such a strong bond interact, it’s fascinating and lovely.
They are in a position where they’re likely feeling a bit nervous (Joe especially he’s said it before) and they just give each other little nudges, little reassuring looks, if one is a bit uncomfortable the other sways in for contact or if not contact just a little more proximity, just a little reminder - I’m here with you.
That kind of connection is often hard to find and the physical representation of such closeness is just wonderful to watch.
It reminds me so much of some of my own friendships and I really think it and the subconscious nature of it all is beautiful to see.
Btw - I stress this is not a shipping post, please do not ship real people. I just love seeing these little human things, they’re so beautiful to me.
